Steve was responsible for the design and project management of the Carrie Steele Bridge and the Canyon, from conceptualization through construction.

A reimagined pedestrian-only bridge serves as a vibrant gateway connecting downtown Atlanta to the artsy Castleberry Hill district. Designed as an extension of Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s gameday experience, the bridge transforms into a linear park with spaces to pause and enjoy city views. Guided by structural and safety constraints, the design employs bold traffic surfacing, synthetic turf, and strategic planters to enliven the space, creating an iconic destination.
